This refreshing berry smoothie is a great snack on-the-run – the perfect way to add energy to your day. Its potent mix of antioxidant-filled berries and high-fibre banana (toss in a whole one if you feel the need for more oomph) are all the ingredients you need to keep on powering. Add some boosters (think a spoonful of LSA meal and chia seeds) for an extra hit of fibre along with the goodness of healthy fats and protein. There’ll be no stopping you!
Ingredients:
¾ cup light cranberry fruit drink
¾ cup frozen mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries)
170 grams low fat yoghurt
½ banana, cut into slices
Method:
Blend together cranberry fruit drink, mixed berries, yoghurt and banana. Mix well on high speed until all ingredients are combined. Pour into two glasses and enjoy!
