• Kate Hudson shared her intense booty workout.
  • With encouragement from her trainer, the actress perfectly executes weighted squats.
  • She’s been sharing her upper body, lower-body, and full-body workouts on social media.

Kate Hudson has spent the last few months strengthening every major part of her body. Lucky for us, she’s shared plenty of workout clips and tips along the way. (We’re still not over her incredible ab strength or her impressive leg moves.)

The 42-year-old’s latest video update comes from glute day, which features her trainer Brian Nguyen coaching her through some weighted squats. She holds a pair of weights while Nguyen tells her to “pull herself into” a deep-seated position before using a strong foundation to push herself back up. “Where’s the bucket?” he asks her, presumably giving her an image of how far back her bum should reach.

The whole time, Hudson is super focused and does her best not to flinch, but it’s pretty evident that she can feel the burn as she shakes her head a few times. Nguyen encourages her by telling her to “shake it out.”

A post shared by Kate Hudson (@katehudson)

“All about that squat! ,” the actress captioned the Instagram clip. “Miss you @dragonmasterbri ❤️❤️.” Fans and Hollywood peers alike were impressed by Hudson’s stability and yes... that peach. (She’s clearly seeing the fruits of her labor!)

“I’m starting today! Woah ,” Courteney Cox commented. “You do have the best ass,” Olivia Munn wrote. “Yeah, Kate! Drop it like it's hot!! ❤️,” another added.

After taking time off from her workout routine during the pandemic, Hudson hit the ground running when lockdowns loosened, jumping back into work on-set and in the gym. She made getting in tip-top shape a priority not only to master her action-packed roles but to keep up with her kids and demonstrate the importance of exercise.

And Hudson knows the importance of leading by example when it comes to establishing healthy routines.

“I grew up witnessing my parents take care of their bodies,” she wrote in a June 8 Instagram post. “People always ask me how I get motivated to stay in shape. The answer is, it’s what I know. It’s how I was raised. It’s [ingrained] in my brain that honoring and working our body is a gift, and so I don’t take it for granted. I loooove moving. I love when it’s challenging. I love being in charge of my results. And I looooove seeing my daughter have fun doing it with me. They watch everything we do! Gotta make some good moves for kids.”

Even though one of her reasons for staying on top of her fitness goals might be to lead by example for her kids, we can’t help but feel inspired by her squat game, too!
