It’s Tuesday evening. Rain is drizzling and the night outside is cold and black. In these circumstances, I would typically be curled up on the couch under a blankie. Instead, I'm on a bike, pedalling alongside Norway’s crystal-clear fjords, surrounded by towering mountains bathed in golden afternoon light – no passport required.
It was my first real insight into what the Peloton Bike+ is all about. Like many people, I'd imagined Peloton being all about high-intensity spin classes and ultra-fit instructors urging you to crank up the resistance. Those classes absolutely exist – and they're actually loads of fun and brilliant produced – but they're only one part of the story.
