Prevention Beauty Awards 2025: Winners Revealed

Clear a shelf and cue the happy dance. The Prevention Beauty Awards are back with our most practical guide yet to the products that genuinely earn their place in your routine.

Every winner was tested on real faces and bodies by an expert panel across different ages, skin tones and skin types with a focus on women 35+.

Skin changes with hormones, stress and environment. We want products that smooth, soothe and protect without fuss.We looked for formulas that feel good, perform across Australia’s varied climates and offer solid value in a cost-of-living world.

Winners had to deliver visible results, layer well with the rest of a routine and be easy to use on a busy morning. Fancy claims were noted, but the final say came down to performance you can see and feel.

How the judging worked

Short-listed products were wear-tested over several weeks from humid north to cool south, on commutes, in gyms and on long workdays. We checked texture, finish, longevity, scent and how skin behaved by day’s end.

reviewed ingredients, tolerability and claims. Sunscreens needed strong cosmetic elegance and consistent application experience. We also considered packaging usability and recyclability.
