Where do you purchase your skincare and hair products?

Picture the typical bridal beauty look: a pinkish lip, maybe a subtly smoky eye, neutral nails-and flawlessly smooth skin that's been erased of any so-called "imperfections." Meghan Markle has proven once again, though, that she's not a typical bride by refusing to cover up her natural freckles-and she looked gorgeous doing it.

Markle-the American actress who this week became the Duchess of Sussex when she married Prince Harry-has long embraced the smattering of freckles across her nose. “To this day, my pet peeve is when my skin tone is changed and my freckles are airbrushed out of a photo shoot,” she told Allure last year. She credits her father for helping her learn to love her freckles as a kid: "For all my freckle-faced friends out there, I will share with you something my dad told me when I was younger: ‘A face without freckles is a night without stars.’”

Meghan Markle's Freckles Stole the Show

Markle's former makeup artist, Lydia Sellers, was spot-on when she predicted what her wedding day makeup would look like: “Natural, dewy-looking skin, with her freckles peeking through, a sheer pink lip and a daytime smoky eye with beautiful volume in her lashes,” she told PEOPLE last month.

In a separate interview with Refinery29, Sellers revealed the instructions Markle used to give her regarding foundation: "Every time I'd do her makeup, she'd say, 'Can we just make sure my freckles are peeking through? I don't want a tonne of foundation.'"

We love that Markle proved in a big way that brides shouldn't feel pressured to have perfectly even-toned skin when they walk down the aisle Congrats to the new Duchess, who always lets her natural beauty shine-both inside and out.
