In a year that has been unlike any other, Tiff Hall has become the perfect fitness and health coach we need right now. And her tip for having a happy Christmas is no exception.

In the December/January 2021 issue of Prevention, Tiff discusses her eight top tips for a healthy body, but she also notes that there's a time and place for letting go.

"I like to indulge at the end of the year," she says. "People are always shocked to hear me say that! If I've got parties and events, I just try to bookend them with a healthy day either side. It's important to stick to your routine during the festive season and make sure you're still exercising, because it regulates your hormones and your appetite and it'll help stop you craving sugar all the time.

"But I enjoy Christmas and if I want to eat something, I'll eat it. I just make sure I do a workout afterwards.

"People often have the all-or-nothing attitude during this time of year, but if you can just avoid thinking like that, you'll be winning!"

As for how she will remember 2020, Tiff has a similarly positive attitude.

"I think everyone will remember this as the year of the pandemic, but I'll never forget the really lovely quality time I've had with my husband and son in two lockdowns. I think there's a little silver lining there where it's been lovely to have that family time."
