We're so excited to hear Kerri-Anne Kennerley will be gracing our television sets once again! After a tough couple of years following an accident that left her husband John bound to a wheelchair, the Australian TV icon is bringing her bubbly personality to TEN’s morning chat show Studio 10 two days a week.

The part-time co- hosting gig means she still has plenty of time with John, who tragically became a quadriplegic after falling from a balcony in March 2016.

Choosing to focus on her family, in the past Kerri-Anne has declined offers to return to morning TV, but told The Daily Telegraph she finally feels ready to make the commitment.

“I do not want to do any more [days a week] because I value my life and lifestyle and time with my husband John. I don’t want to slog at life,” she explained. “I am now in the wonderful part of my life where I can make choices for me. It is a bit of have fun, all care and no responsibility.”

At Studio 10, she will sit alongside funny show regulars Sarah Harris, Joe Hildebrand, Angela Bishop, Denise Scott and Denise Drysdale every Monday and Tuesday, filling a gap left by the departure of Ita Buttrose and Jessica Rowe earlier this year.

Kerri-Anne said she “can’t wait to get the adrenalin pumping again and join the wonderful Studio 10 team”.

“There is a slight feeling of coming home to TEN, where I enjoyed over a decade of fabulous live television. I have a feeling it will be a lot of fun.”

Catch her first appearance on Monday 10 September at 8.30am, only on TEN and WIN Network.
